About Us

ExEnEm is the product of two friends, DJ and Isobel. We met facilitating together for a fantastically progressive organisation, Happy Ltd, and discovered our thinking was so profoundly aligned so that the product of our work together is always much greater than the sum of its parts. 

We’re experienced facilitators with backgrounds in marketing, entrepreneurship, and leadership training/coaching giving us the insight not only of our own experiences but also of those we have trained and coached.

We have been searching for the right term to describe this work (“consultants”, “coaches” and “facilitators” don’t quite fit anymore) – so we’re calling ourselves Collaborators.

Isobel Colson

Co-founder and Collaborator

Isobel Colson is an expert in happiness at work. Having led training programmes in the corporate world since 1993, Isobel created the Get Going Coaching programme to create connected, motivated and engaged teams. 

Isobel has worked in technical support and training for various companies including McKinsey & Company and Oracle Corporation.

Most recently Isobel has been working with Happy Ltd, to co-deliver a 20 month apprenticeship at L7 (CEO and business owners) on implementing Progressive Leadership with organisations.

She is particularly interested in helping organisations navigate the balance between traditional leadership structures and the emerging world of self-management. She believes there’s a productive middle ground that combines clear direction with genuine autonomy and is passionate about helping create this essential foundation culture.

DJ (Daljeet) Singh

Co-founder and Collaborator

Daljeet Singh (who likes to go by DJ) is an experienced facilitator and a lifelong entrepreneur, having run a startup and founded a successful drag performer agency.

He has run over 500+ workshops with an average 4.5/5 participant satisfaction rating. He’s delivered leadership, personal effectiveness, AI adoption, customer service, and cultural development to organisations across a broad range of sizes and industries, including local authorities, growing charities, impact-driven social enterprises, large luxury brands, massive public service corporations, technology conglomerates and even a London guild.

He has been involved in both the delivery and design of workshop material, as well as internal systems and sales for both bespoke private training initiatives as well as curriculum-based 18-month Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship qualifications for Global Majority leaders.

His mission is to help teams create inclusive, ethically-driven environments where high-performing people genuinely want to go to work.

We don’t make grand claims about knowing everything – our experience with so many people and teams actually particularly gives us the understanding of how varied and unique every organisation can be. However, what we do have a lot of confidence in from feedback we receive is that we are good at adapting to people’s circumstances and facilitating spaces where people feel safe to speak up and to learn.
